— NYT article about gambling in Blackhawk, Colorado. I’ve been to Blackhawk on a few occassions and the $5 maximum bet was painful. Glad they’ve raised it to $100, but quotes like the above are a bit concerning…. Great that the proceeds from the raised limit will benefit local community colleges, but hopefully not being subsidized by people who cannot afford to lose the money. The old gambling catch 22!
