When you step back, you see very large investments in access, advertising, search and community platforms. The one underinvested place on the internet from a technology and structured data perspective is content.
Interview with Tim Armstrong in the Financial Times.  AOL may be finally done with their legacy business of dial-up subscribers and can focus on building the company.  Content is a great place to invest, it’s also an area that many companies scrimp on and dont understand.   Content is KING as my partner Rich Christiansen always says- it’s what attracts users (and search engines).
